Hungarian-born Juliana Markova launched
her formidable career as prizewinner in both
the Georges Enesco Competition in
Bucharest and the Marguerite Long
Competition in Paris.
She has performed with the world's major
symphonies, including the London
Symphony, the Royal Philharmonic, the
Philadelphia Orchestra and the Chicago
Symphony.
Markova has appeared in recital on the
Lincoln Center "Great Performers" series
and at the prestigious 92nd ~treet Y.
PROGRAM: works by Haydn, Schumann,
Scriabin and Prokofiev.
