The Borodin Trio
Rostislav Dubinsky, violin; Luba Edlina, piano;
Yuli Turovsky, cello
The world-renowned BORODIN TRIO performed on the evenings of Music
Series in October 1981. Their rich, lustrous music and warm presence inspired
many members of that audience to say the concert was the finest ever presented
here. We are pleased to bring the trio back.
The Borodin Trio emigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union in 1976 to
seek freedom and fulfillment in the artistic expression of their music. They have
been hailed throughout the world as "splendid," "stunning" and "superb" by
critics and audiences alike.
PROGRAM: Works by Arensky, Ravel and Beethoven
The Borodin Trio appears through a tour arranged by New England Presentors, Inc.,
a non-profit consortium of which Fairfield University is a founding member institution.
