THE CLASSES OF 2002 AND 2003 HAVETHEUNIQUEOPPORTUNITYTOCOMPETEFORTHETHIRDANNUAL
BIBLIOPHILES' AWARD FOR STUDENT LIBRARY COLLECTIONS. ANYONE FROM THESE CLASSES WHO HAS BUILT A PERSONAL COLLECTION
OF 25 OR MORE VOLUMES ON A TOPIC OR THEME - HARDBACK OR PAPER - CAN COMPETE FOR PRESTIGIOUS MONETARY AWARDS. THERE
WILL BE A RECEPTION FOR THE APPLICANTS, AND WINNING ENTRIES WILL BE KEPT ON DISPLAY IN APRIL OF THE SPRING SEMESTER.
THERE ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR A COMP LETE BOOK AWARD APPLICATION :
Applications, including guidelines, are available
in the offices of the Deans of the Schools and
Colleges, the office of the Academic V.P., and
DiMenna-Nyselius Library.

1 The student must be a Junior (class of 2003) or a Senior (class of 2002) who owns at least 25 books in an area of personal interest. There is no restric-
• tion on the topic of focus for this personal library, but the books must be
on the same general subject or an interdisciplinary theme.

The student will turn in an essay on the significance of this subject and
a discussion of the development of this personal library.
The student will turn in an annotated bibliography of the twelve most
important books in the collection.
The student will submit a standard bibliography of the full twenty-five books
in the collection.
